- **Event Description**: SXS short course racing is back for year two at Northern Power Race Park—and it’s bigger than ever! Now running as a points series, every race counts as drivers battle for the championship. Expect tight racing, big moves, and nonstop action all day long!

SCHEDULE:
9 am: Gates Open 
10 am - 12 pm: In-person registration and racer check-in. 
1 pm: Riders Meeting 
1:30 - 2:30 pm: Practice (15 minutes per class)
3 pm: Racing Begins 
Gates close 2 hours after racing concludes)

REGISTRATION:
Registration for all NPRP SXS will be done online through Trackside or at the park for an additional in-person registration fee. 
1. We highly encourage you to register online - if you register for all events online, you will receive an NPRP SXS shirt at the last race of the season! 
2. Online registration closes at midnight the night before the event.

GATE FEES (Park Admission):
All crew members and spectators will pay the gate fee when they arrive (this is your ticket into the event)! There is no cost to park.
$15: Adults (13 and up)
$10: Youth (6 - 12 years)
Free: Kids 5 and under

CLASSES & ENTRY FEES:
Pro Turbo - $100 Entry Fee
1,000cc and higher or forced induction
Payout & point class

Pro NA - $100 Entry Fee
1,000 cc and under, naturally aspirated (can also run Pro Turbo)
Payout & point class

Sportsman - $50 Entry Fee
Trophy & point class

Womens - $50 Entry Fee 
Payout, trophy & point class (women can also run other classes)

RACE FORMAT
NPRP Side-by-Side (SXS) races will follow a standard two-qualifiers and a feature format. Heat gate picks will be randomly selected; feature gate picks are based on heat finishing order. 

QUALIFYING RACES (4 laps): 
1. Each class will get two qualifying races. We will run six vehicles on the track at one time. If there are more than six entries in the class, there will be two or more heats. 
2. The top finisher in the first qualifying race will have the option to run the second qualifier or move straight to the final.

FINAL RACE (6 laps): 
The top ten finishers from the qualifying rounds in each class will move on to the final race.
